The Warrior Center is already bringing people together, but we are only getting started. These future vision concepts show how the former Winnebago school can continue growing into a year-round destination for youth, veterans, individuals with disabilities, seniors, families, and the entire region.
Built with the community
Each concept is a starting point for conversation, partnership, fundraising, and careful planning. Projects will move forward only when the right funding, expertise, accessibility, and long-term support are in place.
Future Vision renderings are conceptual and may change as funding, partnerships, engineering, accessibility requirements, and community needs are evaluated.

The vision for Warrior Hall transforms an existing gathering space into a flexible regional destination with warm wood floors, chandeliers, an improved stage, attractive finishes, and seating that can adapt to many kinds of events.

The Veterans Memorial Hallway concept would transform an existing Warrior Center corridor into a respectful, accessible place of remembrance. Displays could recognize local veterans, preserve photographs and stories, and help younger generations understand the service and leadership veterans continue to bring home.

Walking paths and community gardens could connect people to nature and one another while creating opportunities for senior activity, youth education, accessible wellness, gardening, and shared stewardship.

Future outdoor improvements could support soccer, baseball, youth practices, camps, community events, and regional recreation while making better use of the Warrior Center grounds.
