Welcome home, Winnebago American Legion Post 82.

One of our proudest milestones is welcoming Winnebago American Legion Post 82 to its new permanent home inside the Warrior Center.

For generations, Post 82 members have served our nation and our community. It is an honor to provide a place where veterans can continue that legacy through service, fellowship, meetings, mentorship, and community involvement.

The Warrior Center is more than a sports facility. It is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can gather, contribute, and belong. Having Post 82 call the Center home makes that mission stronger.

We look forward to serving alongside Post 82 for many years to come.

A brighter welcome at the Warrior Center.

A fresh coat of paint in the Warrior Center entryway and concourse is bringing new life to one of the first spaces guests see when they walk through the doors.

The brighter, cleaner finish is a simple but meaningful sign of the progress happening throughout the former Winnebago school. Each improvement helps make the building feel more welcoming for athletes, veterans, individuals with disabilities, seniors, families, volunteers, and community visitors.

There is more work ahead, but today the entrance feels a little more like the community home the Warrior Center is becoming.

Official Special Olympics Minnesota delegation.

Minnesota Warriors is proud to be officially recognized as a Special Olympics Minnesota delegation.

This milestone opens an exciting new chapter in our mission to create opportunities for everyone in the community, regardless of ability, background, or circumstance.

As an official delegation, the Warriors will provide sports, recreation, leadership opportunities, and inclusive programming for people with intellectual disabilities throughout Southern Minnesota.

We believe every athlete deserves the opportunity to be active, build confidence, develop friendships, and be part of a team. We look forward to working alongside athletes, families, volunteers, coaches, supporters, and Special Olympics Minnesota to create life-changing opportunities throughout the region.

This is more than sports. It is inclusion, belonging, growth, and a place to succeed.
